Our architects bring the same passion and attention to detail working on the big stuff - and the smaller projects. This includes home renovations, extensions, carports, granny flats, decks, tiny houses etc.
We understand that not every house was built for longevity. Our planning, consultant and trade team enable a smooth transition from demolition to a quality home built with integrity, sustainability and one that will be designed to last.
Who We Are.
Bayside Architecture is a family practice, based in the beautiful Bayside suburb of Wynnum/ Manly. We started this practice over 10 years ago as a husband and wife team - Ian and Kylie Weir. In the early days we spent summers in a cabin by the ocean on our 10 acre block in WA, designing and ‘architecting’ for clients around Australia. The other half of the year was spent working on the balcony of our Queenslander.
Over the years we have built a strong team of authentic, talented professionals that share our vision for a sustainable future that is compatible with an improved quality of life. As a team we are able to come together to make good design affordable, and buildings designed to last.
We continue to work by the ocean - the ‘Bay’ this time, consistently looking for ways a house can be designed for the well-being of the family within it.
