Forest House.
Forest House is an important early work of Anderson O’Gorman Architects, recipients of Australia’s highest architectural honour, the Australian Institute of Architect’s Gold Medal.
This handcrafted house is an architectural gift: a pavilion-style home designed to confidently integrate with the site, it creates a sense of enclosure and calm. The restoration project aim was to modernise the main pavilion and decks, while retaining the unique character and structural expression of the house.
